 Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert ( CCIE ) is what Cisco describes as a premium network certification.The CCIE is widely regarded as having one of the toughest,most demanding exams.It includes both a written examination and certification laboratory exam.This a day aimed at professionals networking of high-level design,build,install,maintain or troubleshoot complex enterprise networks infrastructures.CCIE recipients may specialize in Science,Systems and Communication technologies and services,security or voice routing and switching.

Step One: CCIE Routing and Switching Written ExamYou must pass a written qualifying examination two hours covering topics of network,such as IP,IP routing and connecting bridge and related technologies,and some equipment commands before you are eligible to schedule the  laboratory examination .

Step Two: CCIE Routing and Switching Lab ExamThe eight hours hands-on lab exam tests your ability to configure actual equipment and troubleshoot the network in a timed test situation.You must pass the lab exam within three years of passing the written to achieve certification and the first attempt in the laboratory must be completed within 18 months.
